MCS is a strong advocate of preventing corrosion damages before they occur.  MCS, in conjunction with Sandberg, can offer advice on materials selection and design to minimise the risk of corrosion and failures.

 
Over the years MCS has provided advice on materials selection and corrosion protection on projects as diverse as wave generators in the North Sea, stainless steel open cooling systems, protection of railway carriages and sea transportation of nuclear reactor cores.

We provide and design corrosion coupon holders for domestic/commercial water pipework. We also provide assessment services for coupon weight loss and corrosion rate determination as per ASTM G1 / BS EN 8407.
